"Layla" is in need of a furever home very badly.  She is a good dog and is coming along very well.  She has acclimated to the kennels very well, but would do much better in a stable home environment.  All she needs is a permanent home and lots of love.  Since coming to Nana's, Layla has learned to trust again.  She does very well with other dogs and loves to be petted and praised by people.  She has a funny little habit of putting her face between your knees or in your lap to be petted.  She minds very well but does prefer her own person that she can trust.

Layla was rescued from a situation that was not very good for her and she was very nervous all of the time. She was unable to keep weight on, refused to go outside in the back yard by herself, and did not like anyone other than her Mom. Too much noise and too many strangers coming in and out kept her upset all the time. After only 2 weeks with her foster Mom, Layla began gaining a little weight, started going outside on her own, and is used to other people and animals being around her.  Layla is good around  older children, but due to her nervousness and requiring a calm, quiet atmosphere, she would do better in a home without small children.

If you have the right combination of qualities, Layla would love to be your best couch buddy.  Please contact Nana's for an adoption application.  Layla is quietly waiting for you to take her home.
